🏢 Who We Are
We are a dedicated English-language platform providing guides, market overviews and educational content about online sports betting and casino gaming — built specifically for Pakistani players who deserve clear, honest information.
Our Story
98pkr was created out of a straightforward observation: Pakistani players interested in online sports betting and casino gaming were navigating a landscape full of confusing, poorly translated or outright misleading content. Information about how to place a cricket bet, understand a withdrawal process or recognise a responsible gambling tool was scattered, inconsistent and rarely written with Pakistani users in mind.
We set out to fix that. The 98pkr platform was built from the ground up as an English-language resource that speaks directly to players in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and every other city across Pakistan. Every guide, every glossary entry and every section on this site is written for a Pakistani audience — using PKR currency references, covering sports like Pakistan cricket, PSL, T20 internationals and ICC tournaments, and mentioning familiar local payment methods such as Easypaisa, JazzCash and Raast simply because those are the tools Pakistani users already know.
We do not claim government authorisation, a Pakistani gambling licence or endorsement from any local financial institution. What we do claim is a genuine commitment to providing accurate, balanced and educationally useful content — so that Pakistani players can make informed decisions on their own terms.
To be Pakistan's most trustworthy and clearly written online gambling information resource — empowering Pakistani adults to navigate the world of sports betting and casino gaming with full knowledge of the risks, the rules and their rights.
We believe that informed players are safer players. By presenting information transparently — including the downsides, the legal context and the responsible gambling tools available — we aim to elevate the standard of gambling content available to the Pakistani market.
98pkr is not a gambling operator. We do not accept bets or process deposits. We are an informational and educational platform. Any operator-specific details mentioned on this site are for illustrative or educational purposes only.
What We Stand For
Six principles that guide every piece of content and every decision we make at 98pkr.
We do not hide disclaimers in small print or dress up risks as rewards. Every guide on 98pkr presents both the opportunities and the realities of online gambling clearly and honestly.
From PKR currency figures to PSL cricket coverage and Easypaisa payment references, 98pkr is shaped around how Pakistani users actually live, pay and play — not a generic global template.
Responsible gambling is not a footnote for us — it is woven into every section of this platform. Budget limits, self-exclusion tools and honest risk messaging appear throughout our content.
We cover betting markets, casino mechanics, glossary terms, withdrawal processes and payment options in enough detail to genuinely help a player — without overwhelming them with jargon.
The majority of Pakistani internet users access content on mobile devices. 98pkr is designed mobile-first, loading quickly even on slower connections common in smaller cities and towns.
We acknowledge legal ambiguity around online gambling in Pakistan honestly. We do not overstate opportunities or minimise the legal and financial risks. Players deserve the full picture.
Our Journey
Building a trusted gambling information resource for Pakistan takes time, iteration and genuine engagement with what Pakistani users actually need. Here is a snapshot of how 98pkr has developed.
The 98pkr concept emerged from research into the Pakistani online gambling information gap. Extensive user-need analysis shaped the initial content architecture and tone-of-voice guidelines focused on natural English for Pakistani readers.
The first major content sections went live — cricket betting guides covering PSL, T20 internationals and ICC tournaments, alongside a foundational glossary of betting terms written specifically for Pakistani players new to the market.
We expanded to cover Pakistan's payment ecosystem — referencing familiar methods like Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast, HBL, UBL, Meezan Bank and Bank Alfalah as contextual references. A dedicated Responsible Gambling section was added, embedding player-protection tools and honest risk messaging throughout.
Casino content — slots, live dealer, table games and crash titles — was added alongside expanded sports markets covering football, UFC and MMA. All content remained English-language throughout, targeting adult Pakistani users across Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and beyond.
Today, 98pkr operates as a comprehensive English-language sports betting and casino information hub for Pakistani players. We continue to update guides, refine responsible gambling messaging and improve mobile performance — always with our Pakistani audience at the centre of every decision.
📋 Platform Scope
A broad range of informational content designed to help Pakistani users understand online betting and casino gaming from every angle.
Cricket, football, UFC and more — detailed explanations of how sports betting markets work, from match-winner to in-play live betting.
Slots, live dealer tables, blackjack, roulette and crash games — how they work, what RTP means and how to interpret volatility before you play.
Educational references to Pakistan's payment landscape — Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast and major bank transfers — explained as familiar local context only.
Honest, prominent information about deposit limits, loss limits, self-exclusion, session controls and the reality of gambling risk for Pakistani players.
🛡️ Our Commitment
At 98pkr, responsible gambling is not an afterthought — it is a principle that shapes every page we publish. We believe Pakistani players deserve honest information about the financial risks of online gambling, the legal context in Pakistan and the practical tools available to keep play in check.
We never glamourise chasing losses, never present gambling as a reliable income strategy and never downplay the reality that gambling involves real financial risk. Our responsible gambling section provides detailed guidance on deposit limits, session time reminders, loss caps and self-exclusion options — because these tools exist for good reason and every player should know how to use them.
If gambling is affecting your finances, relationships or mental health, please step back and seek help. Responsible gambling resources and support services are available — refer to our dedicated Responsible Gambling page for more information.
We will always present gambling risks clearly and prominently — never buried in a footnote or obscured by promotional language.
We will never fabricate licence numbers, invent regulatory endorsements or display logos that misrepresent 98pkr's legal status in Pakistan.
We will keep responsible gambling tools and support messaging visible and accessible on every major page of this platform — not just on the dedicated responsible gambling section.
We will continue to update our content to reflect changes in the online gambling landscape relevant to Pakistani users, including legal context, payment method availability and platform developments.
✅ Why 98pkr
Here is what makes 98pkr different from generic gambling content sites that were never built with Pakistan in mind.
Not translated, not adapted — written from scratch in clear, professional English with Pakistani context woven in naturally. No awkward phrasing, no confusing currency conversions, no missing local references.
All amounts, illustrative figures and financial examples on 98pkr are expressed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR / Rs). You will never need to mentally convert USD or EUR figures while reading our guides.
We build pages that load fast on 3G and 4G connections — relevant for users across Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar and smaller cities where broadband penetration is still growing. No heavy scripts, no slow-loading assets.
We do not pretend that online gambling is straightforwardly legal in Pakistan, and we do not claim government or regulatory endorsement. Pakistani players deserve honest context — and that is exactly what 98pkr provides.
Pakistan cricket is the beating heart of sports betting interest in this country. Our guides cover PSL group stages, T20 internationals, ICC tournaments and domestic cricket with the depth that Pakistani fans expect and deserve.
